Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into a stiff dough.
Divide the dough into 2 equal portion
Roll out a portion into straight strip of maximum 4mm thickness without using any flour for rolling.
Cut into approximately 5cm x 5cm square pieces using a knife. Prick them all over using a fork.
Mix the remaining dough with the second portion and repeat step 3 & 4.
Arrange them on a greased baking tray and bake in are-heated oven at 180oc (360oc) for 25 to 30 mins or till they turn crisp from both sides, while turning them once after 12mins. Keep aside to cool slightly.
Store in an air-tight container and use as required.
